The next Transition BH Open Meeting will be in a new venue for April, Druitt Hall, Christchurch, on the 16th April at 7.30pm til 9.30pm. Druitt Hall is next to the library.
The next Transition BH Open Meeting will start prompt at 7.30pm, so we can finish around the usual time of 9.30pm – but do please join us whenever you can get there. If you need to arrive early, some people will be there from 7pm.
Druitt Hall is located down the side of the Library in the High Street in Christchurch. Cycles can be chained on racks outside the library. Wilts & Dorset service X12 runs direct from Bournemouth, Yellow Buses service 1a runs via Boscombe from Bournemouth, with onward connections to Poole on services 1b and 1c. Christchurch rail station is a 10 minute walk from the
High Street at the most.
Seeing that public transport ain’t what it should be, please consider lift sharing – especially if coming from outside the area. Just post where you are in our discussion forum, and say if you are offering or requesting a lift :-)
We do have facilities for making tea & coffee, and basic tea, coffee, milk & sugar will be provided – or just bring along a drink of your choice.
At the last meeting, we had table discussions on the Big Green Fortnight, Re-skilling and Publicising Transition – there is the option to continue these discussions and/or start new ones. Please see the reports that were posted about the previous meetings. We are hoping to have new joiners from Christchurch, and although we don’t wish to set the agenda for the meeting, it would be really useful to have a table discussion going about publicising the next event in Christchurch.
Just a reminder about the resources table (bring something if practical) – and see if you can bring someone too!
